I like to paint animals, horses, birds or even abstract compositions in India ink. These paintings are totally spontaneous.

I relax, I close my eyes, I correct my posture, I hold my brush straight, at the very end and I visualize my subject. So, everything is expressed in a single gesture.

When I paint with my eyes closed, it connects me with the subject deeply. My hands do not move from the emptiness of thought, but from a unity with the thing thought of. I thus remain in my axis and I avoid those external considerations of what is appropriate for aesthetics, distort and weigh down my spontaneity. Of course, I cheat a little. I have to check from time to time if there is paint left on my brush or if my brush leaves the sheet!

scribble a few words,
cannot keep the thought.
Thinking is not even a mirror.
