Gaëtane experiments and learns tirelessly. After the small clay figurines representing people from Nîmes (see sculptures), here appear Romans in the heart of the Nîmes feria! She renews herself. She evolves in her art, her expression and the techniques. Tempera, here pigments linked with egg, gives colors of dazzling luminosity.

Each year, the feria of Nîmes attracts nearly a million visitors. First of all, there is the Féria de Pentecôte, in May, then the more family-friendly Féria des Vendanges, in September. Both are centered around the bull and the Arena of Nîmes.
There is the Pegoulade parade, taken from the Provençal: pègue, a word that comes from pitch, this flammable resin originally used during this old torchlight procession with different floats each year according to a chosen theme. Or, the abrivado, which is a kind of parade of bulls protected by herdsmen on horseback. Or, the confinement, which is the release of bulls in the streets. Also must-sees: the wanderings of the penas, the musical troupes, the bodegas, the balls... For almost a week, it's party time in all the districts of Nîmes!
